Are you scared?
Halloween is getting closer! As the festivities begin and pumpkin carving starts and cobwebs are hung and graves are dug, bringing a creepy-crawly chatter lunchbox to school only makes sense.
Ant infested mandarin oranges and peaches, slimy pickles, pasta from the dead, and chatterbox apple sandwiches are the epitome of a spooky Halloween themed lunchbox! This box is perfect for the “cool” teen in your family that just wants to keep his reputation while secretly enjoying the best themed lunchbox of all time. Heyo.
I just got home from a week spent in Washington D.C. and New York City, and I have to say that I was thoroughly disappointed by the lack of fall leaves and Halloween decorations. We need to up the ante city people. One late night our group took a walk down to the Exorcist’s house and the stairs used in the film. That was
scary fun. It was also convenient that the building next door to the stairs was under construction. Heeby jeebies all up in here.
My Halloween is always a fine line between silly and scary. I definitely tip to the sillier side of the scale like I don’t particularly enjoy haunted mansions. But I love decorating scary and giving other people the creeps. Again, Halloween is a weird holiday for me. It’s basically just the kickoff to the real festivities, AKA Thanksgiving and CHRISTMAS. But, I respect the holiday for what it is and do loveee to dress up like how I would love to dress everyday and not be stared at. Yippee!
I’m going to be a little bossy and say that this lunchbox is a must have for this holiday season.
To all you mothers and fathers out there, it’s super easy to make. Trust me, this blog doesn’t lie. And how much fun would it be to scare your kid when he/she gets to school and thinks there are teeth in their lunch. Or ants. Ha ha. Can we hide a GoPro in there too for a reaction shot? That would be awesome.
Halloween is fun. This lunchbox is fun. What a perfect pair!
The least you could do is scare you little sister when you eat ants out of your peaches! Mwahahahah.
- Place marshmallows and peanut butter inside apple slices to make chattery teeth.
- Pour chocolate sprinkles on top of the peaches and mandarin to make it look like ants.
- Place the pasta in a ziplock bag and squeeze black food coloring drops inside and mix it all together until the pasta is black.
- Place the teeth, pasta, fruit, and pickles in lunchbox compartments and send it off to school with your little one for a scary good time.
